Dr. James Rhode and his wife are the Founding Pastors of Life Community Church of Temple Hills, Maryland, but has recently changed its name to Life International of Maryland.  

 

In October 1999, Dr. Rhode received a strong call to the office of Pastor while he and his wife were touring in Ghana, West Africa with their Spiritual covering.

 

He and his wife were officially ordained to the office in September 2000 by His Royal Majesty, Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, and the Life Ministerial Fellowship International in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

 

Dr. Rhode has a deep desire to develop young leaders who will embrace the presence and power of God and change their generations and promote meaningful worship and a deeper understanding of Christian faith so as to lead others to Christ.

 

He also has a strong desire to train believers on how to effectively operate in their callings and spiritual gifts. He demonstrates the authority of the Gospel of the Kingdom through changing lives; developing, training, and building effective and disciplined Godly leaders that influence all spheres of society; communicating Biblical principles clearly and practically through anointed, intelligent and transforming teaching; and inspiring and cultivating a passion and intensity for God and His Word.

 

A man of determination and great faith, he is on a mission to share the heart of God. He strongly believes that if anyone can trust the Word of God and willingly obey the Word, then he/she will always see the glory of God.
